The strong performance in the labour market is expected to continue, with businesses planning to increase their workforce in the new year, according to research. 

Nearly half of companies expect to increase the number of employees and small and medium-size businesses are more optimistic about creating jobs than larger ones.

Given brexit uncertainty the labour market remains fundamentally strong and this is welcomed news.
