Position: Procurement Category Manager – IT
Location: UK – Flexible Working Options (Hybrid)

With ambitious growth plans and exciting projects ahead, the company is looking to expand its team by adding a dynamic Procurement Category Manager – IT.

As a key member of the procurement team, you'll report directly to the Head of Procurement and play an integral role in the development and execution of strategic IT procurement initiatives. Ideally, they looking for a self-starter who can make an impact from day one and drive success across the IT category.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Procurement to manage and execute IT procurement strategies

  • Assist the IT procurement team in day-to-day operations, providing valuable support to key initiatives

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category and sub-category plans

  • Oversee supplier management, focusing on contract negotiations, risk management, KPIs, and SLAs

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience managing IT procurement categories, including Software, SaaS, Cloud, and IT Services.

  • Strong understanding of category management processes (experience preferred)

  • Experience in a similar industry is beneficial, though not essential

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate both internal and external relationships effectively
