Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Kent (1 day a week) plus travel to clients
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits
Sea Global are currently working with an award-winning multi-disciplinary practice that has established itself as a market leader within the social housing sector. They provide services to local authority and housing association clients, and our commitment to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction has positioned us as a trusted partner across the industry. As a result of growth, they are now seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their growing team.
Working within a small team across multiple clients, you will support the Senior Management Team in delivering all aspects of procurement strategy and governance. This is a varied and client-facing role offering responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence procurement best practice within the social housing sector.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead and support clients in developing procurement strategies from inception through to completion
Prepare full procurement documentation suites including contract folders, preliminaries, specifications, KPIs, and pricing frameworks
Manage project communications at all stages, including clarifications, client liaison, and assessment summaries
Engage with contractors and service providers regarding tender opportunities, including marking, interviewing, evaluation, and structured feedback
Prepare and deliver accurate reports within agreed timeframes
Draft and publish Procurement Act notices in accordance with current legislation
Experience & Requirements
Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement, ideally in social housing or local government
Strong working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 or PCR 2015
Experience managing high-value contract processes
CIPS or PRINCE2 qualification would be beneficial but not essential
