Job Title: Senior Buyer – Indirects

Location: Leeds – 3 days a week, 2 from home

Salary & Package: £45,000 - £52,000 + bonus and amazing corporate benefits

Sea Global are delighted to be exclusively working with a leading business in their field who are currently in an exciting period of growth and change. As a result of this growth, they have created a brand-new Senior Buyer role to support the wider business, reporting directly into the Head of Procurement.

They are ideally looking for a commercially minded Senior Buyer / Buyer who is looking to take a step into a growing business, where no two days are the same. The role will have a real focus across indirects, including Temp Labour, HR, Recruitment, FM, Fleet and some Capex, so experience with a couple of these categories is beneficial.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report into the Head of Procurement, and work collaboratively with the wider team such as the Senior Procurement Managers and other Senior Buyers

  • Use to Strong analytical skills to interpret and work with complex data

  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the business

  • Consolidate and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and efficiency

  • Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Work with stakeholders across the business, building relationships to maximise opportunities

Experience & Requirements

  • Wil have experience working within indirect categories as mentioned above

  • Should have a proven track record of delivering commercial value through procurement

  • Ideally will have a basic understanding of Excel

  • Degree or CIPS would be preferable, however not essential
