Position: Procurement Manager (Non-IT) | 12 month FTC
Location: Bolton, Birmingham, Bristol or Surrey – Hybrid (3 days in office)

With ambitious growth plans and exciting initiatives on the horizon, they are expanding their team and seeking a motivated Indirect Procurement Category Manager to join for a 12-month fixed term.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive individual ready to make an immediate impact and support key projects while the business undergoes a critical phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Head of Procurement to design and implement effective procurement strategies
Support the procurement team with daily operations and critical initiatives
Develop and drive category and sub-category plans aligned with business objectives
Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs
Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
Role & Responsibilities:
Proven experience managing indirect procurement categories such as HR, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Travel, Facilities Management, or other Corporate Service areas
Solid knowledge of category management principles and best practices
Experience within a similar sector is a plus but not essential
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
