Job Title: Procurement Manager (1x IT, 1x Generalist)

Location: Swindon, 3 days a week

Contract:6-Month Fixed Term

Sea Global are delighted to currently working with an exciting business who are going through a period of growth and change. As a result of this, they are now looking for two experiencedProcurement Managersto join them on a 6-month fixed-term contract. These key roles will provide vital support through a period of transition, ensuring business continuity, value delivery, and effective supplier management across a wide range of indirect categories.

  • An IT Procurement specialist - with strong experience in technology contracts

  • A Generalist Procurement professional - with broad category management expertise

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting separation activities including contract reviews and particularly IT contracts

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts to secure the best commercial outcomes

  • Managing the tender lifecycle (RFI/RFP), embedding KPIs and SLAs

  • Leading supplier negotiations and building strong supplier relationships

  • Driving cost savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation across indirect categories

  • Working closely with stakeholders and budget holders to align procurement activity with business goals

  • Delivering agile procurement solutions under tight deadlines

  • Contributing to continuous improvement across the procurement function

Experience & Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ procurement experience in similar roles

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and proven experience in contract drafting

  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills

  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels

  • Experience across indirect categories (IT expertise for the IT role; broad category knowledge for the generalist)

  • Confident use of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and deliver results

  • CIPS qualifications are welcomed but not essential
