Title: Procurement Manager (Indirects) 12-month FTC
Location: Remote
Salary & Benefits:£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Private Medical
Sea Global is proud to partner with one of the UKs leading construction companies. This award-winning organisation is widely recognised for its industry leadership, outstanding workplace culture, and high-performing procurement team.
With ambitious growth plans and some large initiatives on the horizon, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a broad range of indirect category experience to join the business on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive individual ready to make an immediate impact and support key projects while the business undergoes a critical phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the procurement team to design and implement effective procurement strategies
Support the procurement team with daily operations and critical projects
Develop and drive category and sub-category plans aligned with business objectives
Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs
Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
Role & Responsibilities:
Proven experience managing GNFR/Indirect categories e.g. Professional Services, HR, FM, Fleet, IT, Telecoms, Utilties, etc.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement and contract negotiation best practice
Experience within a similar sector is a plus but not essential
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
