Title: Lead Procurement Manager

Location: Connecticut / Hybrid

Salary & Package: $150,000 - $200,000 (DOE) + 3 weeks vacation + 401k + other amazing benefits

 

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a market leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company who are looking for a degree qualified procurement professional to join their team.

Due to ongoing demand, this exciting opportunity has arisen – they have two roles:

  • Capex & Services

  • Direct Materials (Components)

The successful candidate should have experience within the relevant category – Capex & Services or Direct Materials (Components) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent contract negotiation and supplier / stakeholder relationship management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across respective assigned categories.

  • Build relationships with suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business strategies.

  • Support and manage multiple projects from cradle to grave, driving strategy, risk management, and project plans.

  • Will work closely with and build relationships with Projects Managers, Finance, and other functions withing the business.

 

Experience & Requirements

  • Has previous experience in the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing or similar industries

  • Experienced with Capex & Services or Direct Materials (Components) categories

  • Will be degree qualified & have at least 3 years’ procurement experience
