Title: Procurement Manager (Indirects) 12-month FTC

Location: Remote (with occassional travle to Cambridge)

Salary & Benefits: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Private Medical

With ambitious growth plans and some large initiatives on the horizon, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a broad range of indirect category experience to join the business on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive individual ready to make an immediate impact and support key projects while the business undergoes a critical phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the procurement team to design and implement effective procurement strategies

  • Support the procurement team with daily operations and critical projects

  • Develop and drive category and sub-category plans aligned with business objectives

  • Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs

  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience managing GNFR/Indirect categories e.g. Professional Services, HR, FM, Fleet, IT, Telecoms, Utilties, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement and contract negotiation best practice

  • Experience within a similar sector is a plus but not essential

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
